Daryl’s Rally K-EG Build… Part 1

Today we’re back with an update of Daryl Clarke’s K-EG. For those of you who missed the introduction, here’s a link so you can go check it out Daryl’s Rally K-EG Build… Introduction

Now that you’re all caught up, let’s get right into it. At the end of the season the car was stripped and sent off for bodywork and paint where some minor adjustments were made. Today you can take a look at some photos of the progress. Nothing much else to be said so, on to the pics…

Ready to be stripped…

With everything removed, this is how the car stood before it was sent off to body work…

The gearbox as it was disassembled and checked to make sure everything was still in top shape…

Meanwhile some progress was made on the body…

The front end after some holes were filled in the firewall and a closer look at the newly modified shock towers. This modification will allow for more upper control arm travel on some of the more punishing courses where there are uneven surfaces.
