Daryl’s Rally K-EG Build…Introduction

Today we have an exciting post in store for you guys. As the title states, we’ll be giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the rebuild of Daryl Clarke’s K-powered EG Civic. Some of you may be wondering, what’s so exciting about this? And who is this Daryl Clarke we speak of? In that case, we’ll give you guys a little background to the name…

Daryl recently decided to change things up a bit and tried his hand at building a Honda and since then has never looked back. Since its debut this car has never missed a beat or lacked in performance or reliability. Throughout the season Daryl had a number of back to back wins in his group, Modified 7. Of these, he was first in his group in the Caribbean’s biggest annual motor sport event ‘Sol Rally Barbados’. As Daryl continued to pile up victories, and with the season coming to a close, he found himself in a battle which went down to the wire for the Barbados Rally Club Driver Championship, where unfortunately he would place 2nd. Despite not getting into the top spot it has all in all been a very successful year for Daryl, winning his group Modified 7 and placing 2nd in 2WD BRC Championship.

Now that the season has come to an end, Daryl has some changes in store for his Civic. Today’s post is just an introduction to the rebuild so you guys won’t be seeing much until Part 1. What you will be seeing today are some shots of the K-EG in action as well as some shots of how the car sat at the end of the season… Enjoy…
