Track Bred EG6 Build…Part 1
For those of you who missed the first post on this build, I have included a link below so you can get up to date.
Track Bred EG6 Build…Introduction
Jumping right back into it, Jerry got the car back from bodywork and paint. With the engine and suspension installed it would appear as though this car was ready to hit the track, well maybe to the average person. Jerry however, wasn’t satisfied just yet and decided to make a few minor changes here an there. This wasn’t a bad idea but it wasn’t that simple. These minor changes triggered a series of events that to some might seem outrageous, over the top and even insane. In spite of all this Jerry had a goal set in mind and was determined to achieve it…
Today we will be taking a look at the first part of some of these changes which started off as subtle additions and ended up as, well… we’ll let you be the judge of that. Here are the photos…
Fender and bumper being modified…
Larger wing acquired to improve handling…
A glimpse of the new aero setup… Coming along very well…
Close up of the new custom fender design…
Of course Jerry didn’t stop at just the front, in order for the areo to work effectively the back fenders needed some work…
After some adjustments were made, here is a look at the newly designed front bumper…
Still incomplete but you guys can get an idea of how the finished product will look…
Closeup of the the back fender and a glimpse of the back bumper. Here you can get a feel for how wide the car will be with this new kit…
Well that is it for today’s post, I hope you guys enjoyed it. Stay tuned for our next update where we will take a look at the parts list being used for this project…
