Track Bred EG6 Build… Part 11
Back with another update, nothing much changed between the last update, outside of Jerry prepping the car for the next race meet. Similar with the preparation for the first meet, Jerry was hoping to put in some practice laps to fine tune the settings on the car but that didn’t go as planned. Today you guys will be seeing some shots of the car at the 2nd event for the year.
By now you guys know the routine, for those who need to catch up on the previous posts, the link is below…

A look at the time sheet for the day….
Jerry reached his primary goals with the car producing a blistering 44.4 sec lap, this was way beyond what he expected so early in the developement process. However Jerry discovered that some parts will need further reinforcement due to failure. After the first race the car had some suspension/subframe bolts slack, but the major issue was the rear engine mount that was torn completely off, he then had to quickly get these issues corrected for the next race. Another change was the increase in rpm to 9500 from the base map. With another conservative drive Jerry out did himself with the time, and for sure he knew if everything on the car was the same in race 3 he would push harder to achieve a faster time. Unfortunately there was a collision that led to a run off in race 3 which crushed all hopes of getting into a lower time bracket.
For the time being Jerry decided to do a full teardown and check for any possible fractures or failures that might be present and get them fixed along with the damage sustained in the accident.
So far the car is the fastest car EVER on D.O.T tyres, and the goal for the next event is to post the fastest time EVER by a FWD. If Jerry can get in a 43 sec time bracket, he would have achieved what he was preparing for way sooner than expected.
That’s it for today, big thanks to the photographers for these shots. I hope you guys enjoyed it and keep following to see what happens next…
