K-Swapped EG4 Build… Part 2
Today we’re back with another part to Verdon’s K-Swapped EG4 Build. In the last update the motor was lifted into the bay, today however, a significant amount of work has been completed since then. The axles along with the shifter are in place, the wiring has also been completed and basically all that is left to be done is the exhaust and a tune. Below I have a number of shots of the car throughout this process, a long way from where it first started.
For those of you who are seeing this build for the first time, I’ve provided the link below…
DC5 shifter and cables installed, at the moment it’s still exposed but Verdon plans to modify the center console to fit over it for a tidier look.
Engine bay complete with intake manifold cover…
It’s interesting how the K series looks as if it was more made for this chassis…
View from another angle, you would notice the radiator overflow bottle neatly relocated…
Varying angles of the Hybrid Racing header…
Speaking of which, here is a short clip of the engine running with the open header before the car was taken to get the exhaust installed…
Exhaust packed up, now it’s off to have it fitted…
The underbody before the exhaust was ran…
From the cat looking towards the back of the car…
One final look from the back looking forward…
Here are a few snapshots with the wheels fitted…
Sneak peak of the finished look, sitting on Motegi Racing wheels…
From the back, exhaust, LCAs and tie bar fitted in place…
Surely with all the goodies installed I had shots of the final look… Enjoy…
Tint removed, fresh after a full clean…
I just love how much these wheels compliment the overall look of the car, the red accents really make it stand out…
Front end looking really good…
Close up on the Motegi Racing wheels wrapped in Toyo rubber…
This rim combined with the taillights and duckbill, gives the car that timeless look…
I really liked the way this shot of the exhaust and tie bar came out…
One final parting shot of the Motegi wheels, thanks for taking a look and stay tuned for more on this build…
